68/100 A Captain, in charge of cleaning up the territory of its unsavory denizens, makes a deal with an outlaw to find and kill his elusive brother. Take a Sergio Leone western and drop it in the Australian outback and this is pretty much what you'll get ...not as good but certainly worthy of the comparison. The authenticity of the times - the heat, the grime, the despair, the sweat, the savagery, the hatred, even the flies - is absolutely spot-on. The acting is outstanding with some deeply personal and painful moments. I wished I liked it more than I do but it's a good film. - DrNostromo.com
